Have you noticed the trees are shedding their leaves? Fall has arrived! And with Fall's arrival comes festivals, hayrides, and pumpkin patches, which are all fun family outings. Many people are also heading to the mountains to see the beautiful change in color of the leaves. As fun as these activities are, they can create traffic problems and delays, which requires an extra bit of patience and maybe some pre-planning to avoid these heavily traveled roads. I started with State Farm as a Homeowner Adjuster in 1988 and 10 years later I opened my doors as an agent giving me 35 years serving the community. I earned my Bachelors of Engineering degree from East Carolina University — go Pirates! On the weekends, you are likely to find me taking my Harley Davidson out for a ride or reading an intriguing US Presidential biography. Additionally, my wife Jane and I advocate for adopting rescue dogs. To date, we've rescued six doggies and six kitties. We currently have a cat named Jake who understands the importance of having the right purr-tection.
