I started with State Farm as a Homeowner Adjuster in 1988 and 10 years later I opened my doors as an agent giving me 35 years serving the community. I earned my Bachelors of Engineering degree from East Carolina University — go Pirates! On the weekends, you are likely to find me taking my Harley Davidson out for a ride or reading an intriguing US Presidential biography. Additionally, my wife Jane and I advocate for adopting rescue dogs. To date, we've rescued six doggies and six kitties. We currently have a cat named Jake who understands the importance of having the right purr-tection.

In addition, I serve at my local church in the Worship Ministry and as a choir member. My wife, Jane, also serves in the worship Ministry playing in our church orchestra.
